IRC-B, Luwang Pokpa Polo Club advance to next stage

Imphal, October 21 2025: Imphal Riding Club-B and Luwang Pokpa Polo Club secured landslide victories to advance to the next stage of the ongoing 38th N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament, 2025 at Mapal Kangjeibung.

In the 5th match of the tournament staged this afternoon, Imphal Riding Club (IRC)-B knocked out Kangleipak Polo Star Club (KPSC) by 8-1 goals courtesy of goals from Sh Thailand, N Ranjan, A Malemnganba, K Romeo and M Jacky.

IRC-B enjoyed a 2-1 first chukker lead as Sh Thailand scored both the goals after A Kishan scored it for KPSC in the first minute.

N Ranjan scored twice and A Malemnganba added one goal to make it 5-1 after two chukkers before A Malemnganba and K Romeo chipped in a goal apiece in the third chukker to extend the lead to 7-1 .

M Jacky then rounded off the scoring in the 1st minute of the final chukker.

Later in the 6th match of the tournament, Thoudam Ranjan scored 7 goals alone to help Luwang Pokpa Polo Club (LPPC) outlast Khoriphaba Polo Club-A, Nambol by 13-0 goals.

Thoudam Ranjan scored thrice in the opening chukker and Nongthombam Barun added one to hand LPPC a 4-0 first chukker lead before Ranjan scored four goals on the trot and Barun added another to make it 9-0 after two chukkers.

Nongthombam Bankim then made it 10-0 with a goal in the third chukker before Kangujam Jogendra scored all three goals in the final chukker to complete the 13-0 demolition of the Nambol side.
