Imphal, March 21 2025: Having claimed two titles back to back in the first and second editions of MNCA Senior Women's One Day Trophy, THAU, Thangmeiband made the easy work of defending champions PTRC, Patsoi Part IV in the final of the 4th edition today to seal their third title.

THAU bundled out toss winners PTRC for 82 runs in 19.2 overs this morning thanks to Yambem Milan Chanu's dazzling five-for before cruising to the winning 86 in 13.5 overs with 9 wickets left to spare.

Koijam Ranjita 28 off 23, Thokchom Loidangton 11 off 28 and RK Linthoingambi 14 off 9 made double digit scores for PTRC as the team fell flat at 82 in the face of fiery bowling performance from Yambem Milan Chanu who conceded just 10 runs in 4.2 overs on the way to five wicket feat.

Haorungbam Kiranbala (2/33 in 5 overs) and Thoudam Niruta (2/10 in 5 overs) also put in commendable efforts to help THAU dismiss PTRC for a paltry total.

In reply, Brahmacharimayum Seterny Devi (22 not out off 34) and Niruta (19 not out off 9) forged an unbeaten 29-run partnership for the second wicket to seal the victory after Robeni Usham had to retire hurt on 12 and Mangsatabam Chingkheileima bowled out Keisham Kalpana on 18 for the first wicket.

Winners THAU walked away Rs 60,000 richer along with the trophy as runners up PTRC settled for a cash prize of Rs 40,000 and a trophy.

THAU's Keisham Kalpana Chanu also claimed both the player of the series (Rs 5,000 and a Trophy) and highest run getter prizes (Rs 3,000 and a Trophy) for her feat of 546 runs in 7 matches while player of the match, Yambem Milan was feted with a cash prize of Rs 2,000 and a trophy.

Hijam Sijapriyari Chanu of PTCC who claimed as many as 17 wickets in 5 matches meanwhile earned the highest wicket taker prize carrying a cash prize of Rs 3,000 and a trophy.
