25th Sub-Junior Boys' Volleyball Tournament 2026 underway

Imphal, August 17 2026: The 25th edition of Sub-Junior Boys' Volleyball Tournament 2026 organised by the All Manipur Volleyball Association kicked off today at Nachou in Bishnupur district.

Eight teams clubbed into two groups are participating in the league cum knock-out tournament.

The opening day of the tournament saw AMIMYDO, Mayang Imphal and DVA, Thoubal securing Group A wins while YPC, Ishok and HVA, Heigrujam registered wins in their Group B opening league matches.

AMIMYDO kicked off their campaign with a 25-23, 25-21, 25-19 win over DVA, Thoubal before the Thoubal team recovered themselves to beat BDVA, Bishnupur 25-18, 25-4, 25-12 .

In the first Group B match, YPC beat SCYC, Senjam Chirang 25-23, 15-25, 25-19, 25-14 after going down in the second set.

Meanwhile, HVA opened their campaign with a 25-10, 25-10, 21-25, 25-14 win over SEWA, Nachou.
