In a Group A match staged in the third ground, WAFA, Wangoi rode on Chirom Shinivash's treble to beat AMOFA, Moirang by 3-2 goals.
Hemam Samson gave AMOFA a slender 1-0 first half lead with a 24th minute strike but Chirom Shinivash scored back to back in the 67th and the 69th minute to turn the table in WAFA's favour.
AMOFA returned into the game with Konjengbam Newton Singh scoring the equaliser in the 76th minute but Chirom Shinivash snatched the win for the Wangoi side by scoring two minutes into the stoppage time.
Later in the fourth match (Group A), RAO, who have been unbeaten in previous four matches, crushed Imphal Youth Football Club by 6-1 goals to extend their winning run to three games thanks to a double from Moirangthem Somokanta.

The scoring spree continued with Somokanta scoring in the 26th minute before Laishram Lucky made it 4-0 in the 42nd minute.
RAO picked up the game from where they left and further devastated IYFC with Leishising Tallanao finding the fifth goal in the 68th minute before Somokanta scored his second goal in the 78th minute.
