65th Kakching District Level Subroto Cup : EUREKA English School, Padma Ratna English School progress into U-15 boys' tournament semis

Imphal, June 15 2026: EUREKA English School and Padma Ratna English School (PRES) are into the semi-finals of the 65th District Level Subroto Cup for U-15 Boys organised by District Youth Affairs and Sports Office, Kakching at Keirak Playground.

EUREKA English School reached the last-four round with a 5-1 thrashing of Sanatombi High School this afternoon.

Eureka English School came out all guns blazing and entered the break with a 2-0 lead before pumping in three more goals in the second half to seal the 5-1 win.

Th Mani netted two goals in the team's victory (25+2', 50+3') as Led Moirangthem (4'), Th Bikash (27') and Th Lamnganba (38') contributed a goal apiece.

The consolation goal for Sanatombi High School was scored by S Anand in the 32nd minute.

In another last-8 round clash staged later in the day, PRES knocked out Pole Star School 2-0 thanks to goals coming from M Tenison (40') and M Sunanta (50+3') .

Earlier in the day, Martin Grammar School and ADL English School posted wins in the last-16 round.

Martin Grammar School sealed a slender 1-0 win over Kakching Model School thanks to Mangal's 47th minute strike to set up a quarterfinal date with Elang Keinya High School.

Meanwhile ADL English School edged out Victory High School 2-1 to set up a quarterfinal date with Iramdam Maheikol.

H Surmani (25') and M Rakesh (10') were on target in ADL English School's win as P Leishemba netted the only goal for Victory High School in the 48th minute.
