5th MNCA Women's Senior One Day Trophy : THAU beat PTCC by 62 runs for record fourth title

THAU, Thangmeiband defeated PTCC, Patsoi by 62 runs in the 5th MNCA Women's Senior One Day Trophy final for the record extending fourth title.
Asked to bat first, THAU posted a modest total of 181/6 in 35 overs and defended their total by bundling out PTCC for 119 runs in 27 overs this afternoon at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium to seal the top honour.
Ronibala Thokchom shone with the bat as she added an unbeaten 67 off 74 balls to power THAU to 181 .
Ronibala, who came in at number 4, shared a major 54-run partnership off 66 balls for the third wicket with Brahmacharimayum Setemy (34 off 47 balls) and kept the scoreboard ticking till the end despite Ranjita Devi Koijam (3/28 in 6 overs) of PTCC doing her best to breach the fort.
Konjengbam Nonibala (3/16 in 6 overs), Niruta Thoudam (2/24 in 5 overs), and Kiranbala Habrungbam (2/22 in 5 overs) then devastated the PTCC batters and dismissed them for 119 runs in 27 overs to seal the 62 run victory.
Linthoi RK was the highest run-getter for PTCC with 33 runs to her name off 39 balls followed by Laishram Teresa (16 off 18 balls) and Ranjita (14 off 14 balls) .
With this victory, THAU walked away with the title trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000, while PTCC settled for the runners-up trophy and Rs 70,000.THAU's Nonibala - who took three wickets and remained unbeaten on 9* off 14 balls in the first innings - was declared the Player of the Match, receiving a trophy and Rs 2,500.Accumulating 88 runs and a spectacular 17 wickets across the tournament, Nonibala also swept the Highest Wicket-Taker and Player of the Tournament awards, earning an additional Rs 4,000 and Rs 7,000 alongside individual trophies.
Meanwhile, Loidangton Thokchom of SHADOW received the Highest Run-Scorer award, carrying a cash prize of Rs 4,000 for her aggregate of 354 runs across 5 innings.
