3rd MNCA U15 Girls One Day Trophy : Laitonjam Benita smashes unbeaten 142, picks four as PIRC complete league stage sweep

Imphal, May 14 2026:
Laitonjam Benita blazed an unbeaten 1.42 and picked four wickets to help PTRC crush SU by 186 runs and complete the Group A league stage sweep in the 3rd MNCA U15 Girls One Day Trophy 2025-26 at THAU ground, Thangmeiband.
Asked to bat first, PTRC posted a mammoth total of 240 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted 30 overs riding on Benita's 92-ball 142 laden with 19 fours and 1 six before Benita enjoyed a four wicket haul (4/4 in 4.3 overs) to set up SU collapse at 54 in 20.3 overs.
For SU, RK Tamphasana (2/52) and Lairenjam Nungshithoi (2/33) shared four wickets before they slumped to 54 all out in the chase with none of the batters making a double digit score.
Thokchom Yaiphabi 7 was the highest run getter for SU in reply as PTRC's Laishram Bigyapati (2/7) and Laitonjam Silky (2/4) played their part to quicken their rival's downfall.
Benita was eventually named player of the match.
In a dead rubber Group A match staged at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
TCMDC beat PCC by 25 runs.
Put in to bat first, TCMDC raised 133/9 before bundling out PCC for 108 runs in 28.3 overs thanks to leading performances from Urikhinbam Langlen (4/11), Ch Priyadasni (2/26) and W Malem (2/18).P Kebisana (3/18) and S Riyasana (3/47) shone with the ball for PCC before they had a disastrous chase.
PTRC will now play THAU in the first semi-final match on May 16 at Kongba Dhobi Lampak as SHADOW set up the other semi-final date with AKSDO at THAU ground the same day.
