UCC, KYWAC in DSA Trophy Invitation Football Tournament

Imphal, September 13 2024: UCC and KYWAC both eased to an identical 4-1 win over their opponents in Friday's action of the 18th DSA Trophy Invitation Football Tournament 2024 at DSA Kakching playground.

H Manithoi scored twice in UCC's 4-1 rout of LMLCC.

M Debaraj put UCC ahead in the 13th minute but E Avinash equalised for LMLCC in the 24th minute.

Sh Malemnganba put UCC back in front with a 31st minute strike before Manithoi netted a quick double, scoring in the 47th and 48th minutes to hand their team a convincing victory.

Later in the day, KYWAC dominated TWYLA 4-1, with Aungdun netting a hat-trick.

Aungsun gave KYWAC a strong start by scoring in the 4th minute, and he doubled their advantage in the 36th minute.

M Sanathoi narrowed the gap for TWYLA in the 38th minute, but KYWAC regained control as Bobykanta added a third goal in the 45th minute and Aungdun completed his treble and team's collection in the 73rd minute for the eventual result.
