Imphal, August 13 2026: Khumukcham Warren of Kakching secured first position in senior men's bodybuilding competition to seal the Mr Khamba 2026 title in the Inter District State Level Body Building Contest jointly organised by the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA) and the Body Builders Association of Imphal West.

The contest was held with the motto "Ima Leibakidamak Kathokchaba" and as a tribute to the Martyrs of Manipur on the occasion of Patriots' Day at National Game Village, Zone-IV, Public Ground, Langol.

Warren was followed by Khoirom Bikramjit of Thoubal in second place and Laiphrakpam Bankimchandra of Imphal West in third place.

Imphal East's duo of Mohammad Ishtiyaque Hussain and M Barnold, meanwhile, finished fourth and fifth in the segment.

Rockyson Yanglem of Imphal West meanwhile sealed the junior men's bodybuilding title and was followed by Meitankeishangbam Barnold and Pritam Nahakpam of Bishnupur in the second and third places.

Finishing fourth in the segment was Longjam Eillison of Imphal West as Chandam Bulu of Imphal East finished fifth.

Masters : Thangjam Kiram of Imphal East won the Masters' Bodybuilding title at the contest as Oinam Sanjoy of Imphal West and Konsam Manju Meitei of Chandel sealed the second and third place finishes.

Nongmaithem Sunil of Kakching and Meikinlung Panmei of Imphal West were placed fourth and fifth.

Leishangthem Sarita of Thoubal meanwhile claimed the women's bodybuilding title.

Men's Sports Physique

The day also witnessed Thokchom Ronex of Imphal West securing the Men's Sports Physique title of the competition as Moirangthem Athouba of Thoubal and Karam Thoungamba of Imphal West finished second and third.

Nongmaithem Ariyal of Kakching and Wahengbam Keilash of Imphal East managed 4th and 5th place finishes.

As many as 42 athletes from 6 districts participated in the contest.
