Imphal, August 12 2024: Yuvraj Sonar won Mr Ukhrul title topping the senior men's bodybuilding event in the 1st Mr Ukhrul and Fitness Competition organised by the Body Builders Association of Ukhrul in collaboration with Royal Gymnasium Ukhrul at Town Hall, Ukhrul on August 10 .

As many as 29 athletes of the district competed for top honours in men's bodybuilding (junior and senior) and sports physique and women's model physique events in this district level competition held under the aegis of the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA), said AMBBA in a press release.

Finishing second behind Yuvraj Sonar of Phungreitang in the senior men's bodybuilding competition was Amung MK of Mailiang village as Lungreishim Kasar of Ramva, Richard Sareng of Longpi Kazui and Varan J of Hunphun secured third, fourth and fifth places.

Meanwhile in the junior men's bodybuilding competition, Khanrin Shaiza of Hunphun (Ukhrul) emerged on top as Mishap Khapai of Hungpung (Hundung) finished second and Mayongam Keitang of Pushing village finished third.

Soyar Kasomwoshi of Chingai village secured fourth place in the same competition while Theirei Luikham of Hunphun finished fifth.

In the meantime, Pamshang Chahongnao of Tushen village clinched the men's sports physique title in a competition participated by 11 athletes.

Finishing second in the same event was Paotam Vashum of Razai Khunou as Ramhor PS of Zingsui village, Shengky Bangkong of Silent village and Thotmathing Awungshi of Lungshang village finished third, fourth and fifth.

The women's model physique title, meanwhile, went to Chingri Khapai Shimrah of Kazipphung as Leishimi Raihing of Shangshak Khullen and Elika Vashi of Teinem village secured the second and third places, AMBBA said.
