Dr Sambit Patra calls on Sushila, Nilakanta

Imphal, August 12 2021: BJP National spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra visited players of the hockey men's and women's National team who took part in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 .

Dr Sambit Patra landed in Imphal today.

He was accompanied by BJP State president A Sharda Devi and executive member Jyotin Waikhom in visiting P Sushila Chanu at her residence in Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai.

Dr Sambit Patra praised Sushila for her outstanding performance at Tokyo though the women's team lost the playoff for the Bronze by a whisker.

Later, the BJP National spokesperson visited S Nilakanta Sharma, a midfielder in the men's team that won bronze at Tokyo Olympic at his residence in Kontha Ahallup Makha Leikai.
