1st MNCA U-23 Women's One Day Trophy : AKSDO crush TCMDC by 195 runs, SHADOW beat PTRC by 9 runs

AKSDO, Khangabok handed TCMDC, Thongju a crushing 195-run defeat to end their two Group A game losing streak in the 1st MNCA U-23 Women's One Day Trophy.
Opting to bat first at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, AKSDO piled up a huge total of 254 runs for 8 wickets (in 35 overs) and bowled out TCMDC for a lowly total of 59 runs in 19.2 overs.

Ningthoujam Taniya scored 100-ball 124 to help AKSDO post the big total.
Thoudam Ningthoisana (2/24), Yensembam Nikita (2/40), Athokpam Tennish (2/56) and Anoubam Inao (2/47) of TCMDC were able to pick two wicket apiece although they conceded overall 87 extras.
In the chase, Thoudam Ningthoisana 13 emerged highest run getters as other batters departed cheaply including 2 on ducks as Khundrakpam Bijiya (3/11 in 3 overs), Thokchom Alish (3/14 in 3.2 overs), Khundrakpam Lucyrani (2/18 in 3 overs) and Laishram Linthoi (1/8 in 5 overs) shared 9 wickets among them.
Ningthoujam Taniya was adjudged player of the match. In a Group B match staged at THAU ground, Thangmeiband, SHADOW quashed PTRC's semi-final hopes by handing a 9-run defeat and went second in the table behind runaway leaders FORCE.
SHADOW opted to bat first and amassed 195 runs for 5 wickets in the allotted 35 overs courtesy of half centuries from Sapam Kebriya (112-ball 90; 11 fours and 2 sixes) and Laishram Viviene (72-ball 66; 12 fours) .
SHADOW then bowled out PTRC for 186 runs in 29.2 overs despite Laishram Linthoingambi's 57-ball 80 (9 fours) riding on Hanglem Priyanshee (5/29 in 7 overs) and Thokchom Victoria (2/41 in 7 overs) .
For PTRC, Laitonjam Silky (2/5 in 1 over) and Laitonjam Linthoi (1/21 in 3 overs) shared three wickets before they ended up gathering 186 runs.
Sapam Kebriya who led the batting charge for SHADOW was adjudged player of the match.
