MP Verma Unity Cup Cricket Manipur beat U'khand; face N'land in SF

Imphal, April 08 2017:
Manipur team beat Uttarakhand by 61 runs and cruised into the semifinal of the 6th All India Invitation MP Verma Unity Cricket Cup today at the Bihar Electricity Board Cricket ground, Patna.
The tournament is being organised by the Bihar Cricket Association under the aegis of BCCI.
Manipur face Nagaland in the semifinal on April 11 .
Th Kishan took three wickets and steered Manipur's team towards the semifinal.
William took two wickets while Holendro, Bobind and Akshaykumar took a wicket each in Manipur's win today.
Manipur won the toss and elected to bat first.
The State team took 240 runs for six wickets in 40 overs.
In reply, Uttarakhand scored 179 runs for all out in 32.5 overs.
Mintuchandra of Manipur, who hit 77 runs in 67 balls was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Narsingh scored 47 runs, Priyojit scored 6 runs, Akshaykumar hit 15 runs, Sultan took 8 runs while Holendra scored 10 runs (not out) for Manipur today.
