Junior Men's State Level Basketball C'ship : Model Club beat TDBBA 58-44

Imphal, August 07 2025: Model Club, Chingamakha defeated TDBBA, Thoubal by 58-44 points to cap the Group A league round in the 15th JuniorMen's State Level Basketball Championship with three wins and are all but qualified for the semifinals.

H Rahul, Th Sotindrachand and L Billgates led Model Club the victory at Brahmapur Nahabam Basketball Court this afternoon as Y Sachindrakumar starred with match high 20 points off 4 triples for the Thoubal team.

H Rahul added highest 17 for Model Club including a triple as Th Sotindrachand added 15 points and L Billgates followed with 14 points to the team's tally.

L Telheiba meanwhile scored two triples on the way to his 8 point finish as A Shatish and H Lanchenba added 2 points apiece.

Meanwhile, Y Sachindrakumar led the scoring for the losing team followed by L Biyas (7 pts), N Jonathan (6 pts), L Shitaljit (6 pts) and Y Binison (2 pts) .

Later in a Sub-Junior Boys' match, Model Club defeated YOSC 56-32 .

Asem Nelson scored 23 points to fashion the 56-32 win for Model Club as Thokchom Gison (15 points) and Achom Phoenix (10 pts) gathered another bulk of 25 points.

N Lanchenba (6 pts) and L Keilung (2 pts) were also on target for the Chingamakha side as C Chitan topscored for YOSC on 23 points followed by M Telheiba (4 pts), N Bablu (3 pts) and Chitravash (2 pts) .
