Imphal, November 06 2008: Hosts MBSU, Imphal West crushed ASSA, Thoubal 7-0 in the opening match of the 13th M Chittamani Singh Memorial Winners' Cup football tournament at Lilong Chajing today as AIM, Khabam edged past KYU, Sadar Hills 2-1 at its Liberal College ground home turf.

The day's other match at DSA, Kakching ground between KFC, kakching and RACC, Rengkai ended in a 2-2 stalemate.

The MBSU goals at Lilong Chajing ground were scored by N Dhananjoy (2nd, 32nd, 45th, 66th), ZV Reisang Zimik (14th), Th Roshan (18th) and Md Kabir (85th).Basu (2nd) and Herojit (6th) scored in AIM's win with Paogou-leng pulling back one for the Sadar hills side in the 32nd.In the KFC versus RACC match, K Beniangthar (52nd) and Thangtenlien (70th) scored for the former with Michael netting the latter's goals in the 59th and 79th minutes.
