NETA, Kangla ended their three game league campaign with a 26-15 win over LMYVA, Lalambung in the 39th State Sub-Junior Basketball Championships 2026 as Youth Club, Uripok and YOSC, Khurai sealed their fourth straights wins to confirm final berths.
In the 5th match of the 4-team girls' competition, NETA who suffered a 9-24 loss to YOSC before going down 4-32 to CYLC, Chingamathak, ended their league campaign with a 26-15 win over LMYVA thanks to Chingulembi's 10-point finish and contributions from Chanukhombi (8 pts), Abembem (6 pts) and Korounganbi (2 pts) .

It was on the other hand, the fourth straight loss for LMYVA.
Hoshika did her best to score two treys on the way to her 7 point finish as Minanda scored a triple in the second period.
Merinda scored two 2-point field goals as Belia managed to convert a free throw to make 15 points.
Youth Club and YOSC cruise to fourth straight wins
Youth Club and YOSC are on the course colliding for the title of the boys competition with both the teams having secured their fourth straight victories in the 6-team league round.
Youth Club, who have crushed Model Club 54-4, prevailed 73-50 over ESU and thumped LMYVA 76-33 in their first three games, extended their winning run to four games by outclassing CYLC, 62-12 today at Uripok.
Billgates took centre-stage today as he scored the match high 24 points including 4 triples while Shriyans scored 2 triples on the way to the second highest 22 point finish in Youth Club's victory.
Mangal and Nishan meanwhile scored 6 points apiece for the team as Phoenix and Dhanaraj scored 2 points apiece to make up 62 points.
Bhagivat, on the other hand, scored 5 points for CYLC as Thomas, Thoungamba and Yaiphaba scored 2 points apiece and Ronaldo managed 1 point off a free throw.
In the 11th match of the boys' competition staged later, Model Club, Chingamakha scored their second win in four matches by handing LMYVA a 48-15 defeat.
Keilung scored 4 triples on the way to his match-high 19 points as Tomthin followed suit with 12 points to help Model Club seal the commanding win today.
Hemson meanwhile added 6 points as S Arbin and Kenny scored 4 points apiece and Delbert chipped in 3 points.
For LMYVA, Yohenba scored two triples on the way to his 8-point finish as Malem contributed 3 points and Telheiba and Ira scored 2 points apiece.
Later in the 3rd boys' match of the day, YOSC completed their fourth win on the trot by defeating ESU 70-44 .
Chitan was unstoppable yet again today as he scored a trey enroute to the match high 43-point finish today as Hitler gathered another 10 points to set up the huge win for YOSC.
Dylan (8 pts), Chitravash (7 pts) and Chingkheingakpam meanwhile added the remaining 17 points to make up 70 points for the team.
For ESU, Mangalsana took centre-stage as he scored 26 points followed by Pangakpa (10 pts), Jivit (6 pts) and Brownson (2 pts) .
With the wins, YOSC and Youth Club are assured of a 1-2 finish in the league round and eventually qualified for the final.
They will fight it out for the top of the table contest tomorrow.
