1st MNCA Women's U19 T20 Trophy : SHADOW end campaign with 84-run win over TCMDC

Imphal, July 06 2026: SHADOW, Thangmeiband beat TCMDC, Thongju by 84 runs via VJD/Other method in a rain hit dead rubber Group B match of the 1 st MNCA Women's U19 T20 Trophy 2025-26.Sapam Kebriya shone with the bat while Hanglem Malemnganbi led the bowling charge to help SHADOW end their group campaign with a win and finish third in the team standings behind THAU, Thangmeiband and PCC, Mayaikoibi who made 1 -2 finishes to qualify for the semi-finals.

Electing to bat first at THAU ground, Thangmeiband, SHADOW made a scintillating start as openers Sapam Kebriya and Viviene Laishram exploited TCMDC bowlers to add 125 runs off just 65 balls.

Kebriya had the lion's share of 75 runs off 43 balls laden with 13 boundaries (10 fours and 3 sixes) in this first wicket stand until Thoudam Ningthoisana trapped Viviene lbw on a 24-ball 34 for the first wicket in the 5th delivery of the 11th over.

Incoming Thokchom Victoria (1 off 1 ball) and Kebriya were unbeaten as SHADOW closed the innings at 126/1 after 11 overs with rain interrupting the match.

The target was revised to 135 in 11 overs via VJD/ other method but TCMDC managed to gather 50 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 11 overs despite Ningthoisana's quickfire 36 off 26 balls to conclude their league campaign without any win.

Hanglem Malemnganbi enjoyed a three wicket haul (3/16 in 2 overs) for SHADOW while Wahengbam Priyabati picked one (1/16 in 3 overs) .

Kebriya, who blazed an unbeaten half century and caught out Laishram Geetanjali, was adjudged player of the match.

Semi-finals

Group A winners AKSDO will play Group B runners up PCC in the first semi-final match of the tournament tomorrow at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium before Group B winners THAU will square off against Group A runners up FORCE on July 8 for the remaining final berth at the same venue.
