Imphal, March 05: MPSC split points with NEROCA, Shangakpham after a late equaliser from N Deshkumar while PYC (Phoudel), USA (Khurai), SSU (Singjamei) and ESU (Wangkhei) scripted wins in second leg matches of the 2nd Manipur State League football tournament today as table topper NISA of thangmeiband (42 points) established a three point lead over its nearest rival NEROCA (39) after the Thangmeiband side was awarded three points and three goals as its opponent RACC, churachandpur had already been scratched from the competition.

Visitors NEROCA shot into the lead at Pangei ground on a Ksh Manglemba goal in the 62nd minute before the Deshkumar equaliser saved the police side.

Host PYC raced to a 2-0 lead on goals from W Nilakanta (6th) and Md Sahidur (62nd) while Th Samson reduced the loss margin for YWC, Thambalkhong two minutes from end of normal period.

At Khundrakpam, host USA rallied from a goal down to collect full points against TRAU, Tiddim Road with a 2-1 victory.

Jamkholen fired TRAU ahead within 11 minutes of the game before L Romeo's 63rd minute strike evened the score and S Dinakumar pumped in the winner in the 71st minute.

Playing at Moirang, Singjamei side SSU blanked AMOFA 2-0 with goals from N Jimmy (49th) and G Ninja Kabui (58th).The day's highest win margin was recorded by ESU with an 8-2 rout of KFC, Kakching at the latter's home turf.

Th Prabinkumar netted three of the ESU goals followed by two from S Heman as E Amitkumar, Ishorjit and L Somen contributed one each.

For the hosts L Anil and Joseph Thanghinlal Khongsai bridged the score deficit.
