DGP fetes State Police contingent following 12-medal feat at AIP Judo Cluster Championship

Imphal, August 04 2026: The DGP Manipur felicitated the medal-winning contingent of Manipur Police who participated at the recently concluded 11th All India Police Meet - Judo Cluster, 2026, held at Hyderabad from July 23 to 30, 2026 .

The Manipur Police contingent delivered an impressive performance, securing a total of 12 medals, comprising 2 gold, 2 silver and 8 bronze medals across Wushu, Judo, Taekwondo (Poomsae) and Karate events.

The contingent include gold medallists- N Roshibina Devi - Wushu (60 kg Sanda) and H Sunibala Devi - Judo (78 kg); silver medallist- N Wattaba Meitei - Wushu (Taolu- Nanquan & Nangun; bronze medallists- N Wattaba Meitei - Wushu (Taolu : Nandao), Ch Herojit Singh - Wushu (Taolu : Taijian), T Meghajit Singh - Wushu (Taolu: Changquan & Daoshu), L Samanta Singh - Wushu (Taolu : Nandao), Trio of RK Dhanajit Singh, H Bobo Singh and Yaimathoi Singh in Taekwondo Poomsae (Over 40 Years Team Event), M Inaoton Singh - Judo (81 kg) and T Rojit Singh - Karate (75 kg) .
