SAI STC Utlou to induct athletes of four disciplines

Imphal, September 01 2026: Sports Authority of India Sports Training Centre, Utlou is set to induct athletes of four disciplines- Boxing, Football, Taekwondo and Weightlifting.

The centre is going to induct 5 boxing players (12 to 18 yrs : residential scheme), 6 football players born between 1/1/2012 and 31/12/2014 (non-residential), 6 taekwondo players (12 to 18 yrs : residential scheme) and 8 weightlifting players (12 to 18 yrs : residential scheme), said a press note issued by the centre.

Preference will be given to meritorious sports persons, it said.

Application forms can be availed from the office of the Centre-In-Charge from September 2 onwards and the last date of form submission along with Age Proof Certificate, Aadhaar Card, School Reading Certificate, 4 passport size photographs and sports achievement certificate (if any) is September 11 (during office hours), it said.

Eligible candidates will undergo trials on September 12 and 13 at the centre from 6.30 am onwards, it added.
