State Level Boxing Championships 2026 : Oinam Mangalthoi thump Aribam Sakil with stunning first round KO to clinch Elite Men's -75 kg category title

In a stunning display of explosive power, Imphal West's Oinam Mangalthoi outclassed Kakching's Aribam Sakil with a devastating first-round knockout to claim the Elite Men's -75 kg category title in the State Level Boxing Championships 2026 that is underway at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena.
The -70 kg category Elite Men's final was also a one sided affair as Bishnupur's Salam Jatin dominated Imphal West's Clinton Oinam with a barrage of shots before the referee stopped the contest.

MPSC's Soubam Sunny meanwhile beat Imphal West's Laishram Shairaj 5-0 via unanimous decision to win the -65 kg category gold as Mutum Nikison of Imphal East beat Angom Naresh of Imphal West 4-1 via split decision to claim the -50 kg category title.
U19 Men : Yubraj Angom strikes -75 kg category gold
The day also saw Yubraj Angom of Bishnupur overwhelm Kakching's Kh Jeckson 5-0 via unanimous decision to win the U19 Men's -75 kg category title.
His compatriot, Hemam Rajdaneil meanwhile sealed an RSC win in the third round over Imphal East's T Heliyon to win the -70 kg category gold.
Earlier, Imphal East's Keisham Thoungamba crushed Ukhrul's Ngathingshang Valui 5-0 to win the -65 kg category gold; Kakching's Khaidem Lanchenba overwhelmed Imphal West's Kh Johnson 5-0 for the -60 kg category gold; Th Khongnang of Imphal West edged Thoubal's N Pradeshi 4-1 for the -55 kg category title and Thoubal's Thokchom Thoiba beat Imphal East's K Lanthoiba 4-1 for the -50 kg category title.
U19 Women : Imphal East's S Menaka clinches -65 kg category title
Imphal East's Sharungbam Menaka deservingly claimed the U19 Women's -65 kg category gold medal via a 5-0 verdict against Bishnupur's Thoudam Daina in the title clash.
Imphal West's Radhamani Longjam meanwhile sealed the -60 kg category title with a dominating 5-0 win against Thoubal's Saikhom Bema in the final as comaptriot Riya Heikham registered a similar win against Bishnupur's Loitongbam Alia Chanu for the -57 kg category title.
The U19 Women's -54 kg category title meanwhile went to Loitongbam Luxmi of Bishnupur who pulled off an RSC win over Imphal West's L Sanjana in the third round as Kakching's Khaidem Manganthoi edged past Tamenglong's Lanchalu Malangmei 3-2 for the -51 kg category title and Noney's Gunshalu Khumba cornered Kakching's N Anjali 4-1 for the -48 kg category gold.
U17 Girls : Thokchom Prity beat Y Kenita for -60 kg category title
The day also witnessed Thoubal's Thokchom Prity thump Kakching's Y Kenita 5-0 to win the -60 kg category title for U17 Girls.
The -54 kg category title went to Bishnupur's Thongbam Phabisana who beat Thoubal's S Ibensana 3-2 as Naorem Suma of Imphal West won the -52 kg category title, Lamameilu Gangmei of Imphal West won the -50 kg category title and Imphal East's Milky Meinam won the -46 kg category title.
U15 Girls : Yumnam Thoibi seals -61 kg category title
Yumnam Thoibi of Imphal West was also seen securing the U15 Girls' -61 kg category title as she posted an RSC win over Ukhrul's Ningshichon A Shimray in the third round.
Thoubal's Ngangom Binao was also too good for Imphal West's Joshita Laishram in the -55 kg category title clash after Khumukcham Anamika of Imphal East overwhelmed Kakching's Th Malemnganbi 5-0 for the -52 kg category title.
Earlier, Imphal East's Wakambam Chanurembi (-37 kg), Chithung Jessica of Senapati (-40 kg), Khundrakpam Tania of Imphal East (-43 kg), Moirangthem Sonia of Imphal East (-46 kg) and Yumnam Lannganbi of Kakching (-49 kg) also picked gold medals in the competition.
