Noney, July 23 2025: One Langdabui (75) of Khumji Part-2 village in Noney district was rushed to the Assam Rifles Unit Hospital in Noney after he was bitten by a venomous snake.

Medical personnel conducted a thorough examination of the individual and administered requisite treatment.

After stabilising the patient, the individual was discharged.

The incident highlights the role played by Assam Rifles in extending support to the local community beyond their conventional duties.
