Imphal, February 21:
A team of Heingang police station has taken into custody 11 of the striking petroleum tanker drivers from Shangakpham area at around 5 pm today.
The FCS Minister is informed to be present when the arrests was made.
According to the Minister Y Irabot the police action was compelled after some of the agitating drivers resorted to pelting stones at the depot and tankers that had been engaged to ferry fuel at outlets.
