Imphal, December 19 2008: Troops of 29 Assam Rifles donated rations, sport items and financial assistance to the Church of Laibi village under Tengnoupal sub-division as a goodwill gesture and to mark the beginning of Christmas celebrations.

Hqs 26 Sector also donated rations, bunting and assorted items to Church authority of Maringphai village.

The locals have also been assured of any type of assistance required during Christmas celebration.
