Kakching, March 19 2023: Under the aegis of All Manipur United Fish Farmers' Association (AMUFFA), a body christened "Imphal West District United Fish Farmers' Association" was formed on Sunday at Laphupat Tera Girls' LP School in the presence of AMUFFA state president M Bimolchand.

S Komol, H Muhindro and S Premkumar have been appointed as president, general secretary and finance member respectively along with 17 other executive members.

In his brief speech, state president M Bimolchand stressed the need to adopt modern technologies and techniques so as to become self-reliant in fish production and relieve Manipur from depending on imported fish.
