DDAM celebrates 19th Foundation Day

Imphal, August 18 2025: Disabled Development Association Manipur (DDAM) celebrated its 19th foundation anniversary at Hao Ground, Singjamei on Monday with a simple function.

According to a statement from DDAM, the association established in the year 2006 is dedicated to the welfare and development of the people with disabilities.

The association focuses mainly on lives of people with disabilities including education, healthcare and empowerment and demanding implementation of RPWD Act, 2016 fully in the state.

It also said that DDAM has been demanding a separate department for disabilities as in some states of the country.
