Imphal, April 18 2025: Police on Wednesday arrested two persons in connection with a viral video showing them brandishing sophisticated firearms at an undisclosed location.

The incident, which triggered widespread concern on the social media, is reported to have occurred under the jurisdiction of Churachandpur police station in Churachandpur district.

The arrested duo has been identified as Chinsonlun (30) and Lamsuanlal Tombing (29) .

Authorities said that both were taken into custody following preliminary investigations into the circulation of the video.
