Lup asks MLAs to state stand on crisis

Kakching, November 17 2024: Yelhoumee Kanba Lup - Wabagai, Hiyanglam, Keirak, Koidum has asked Hiyanglam MLA Dr Yumnam Radheshyam and Wabagai's Dr Usham Deben to state their respective stand on the crisis besieging Manipur since May 3 last year.

In a statement, the Lup demanded that the MLAs disclose their stand on the ongoing crisis within 24 hours, failing which the legislators should tender resignation.

It also cautioned that in case the MLAs do not make their position clear within the specified time, they will be barred from entering their respective constituencies indefinitely.
