JAC formed against Jiribam killings

Imphal, November 14 2024: A JAC in connection with the brutal killing of Laishram Barel Meitei and Maibam Kesho Meitei by Kuki terrorist in Jakuradhor Lamlong Keithel in Jiribam district on November 11, has been formed.

Along with forming the "Joint Action Committee" with Yurembam Joy Singh as convenor, it also resolved to demand immediate arrest and punishment of the culprits within 72 hours; compensation to families of the victims before conduct of religious rituals; government job to surviving member of the victims' families; and not to claim the bodies till their demands are honoured.
