Assam Rifles distributes blankets to elders

Imphal, January 13 2025: Assam Rifles distributed blankets to elderly citizens of Machi, a remote village in Tengnoupal district on Monday.

Organised in collaboration with Mumbai-based Manavta Charitable Foundation, the initiative is aimed at providing warmth and comfort to those in need during the harsh winter months.

Approximately 100 villagers received blankets during the event, a statement issued by PRO, IGAR (S), informed.
