AR seizes 115 cases of foreign liquor

Imphal, October 06 2024:
Assam Rifles conducted a cross-border operation at Indo-Myanmar border, Moreh bn October 5, 2024, seizing 115 cases of foreign liquor worth Rs 4 lakh.
During routine patrol, troops observed suspicious activity where individuals abandoned vehicles filled with liquor upon noticing troops.
Despite efforts, suspects escaped.
Liquor and vehicles have been handed over to the customs officials for further investigation, said a PRO IGAR (S) release.
