Manipuri Pony Society to launch 'Joy Ride' for children

Imphal, July 06 2026: The Manipuri Pony Society will launch a regular Joy Ride Programme to introduce children to the cultural heritage of the indigenous Manipuri pony.

The inaugural event will be held at the Manipuri Pony Breeding Farm, Lamphelpat, on July 8, 2026, at 3 pm .

Parents are invited to bring their children to participate in the unique experience.

Organised in collaboration with the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association and the Manipur Equestrian Association, the programme aims to promote awareness and appreciation of the Manipuri pony.

The Manipuri Pony Society said the Joy Ride will be a continuous activity and will later expand to Basic Riding Classes.

Fee details will be announced soon.
