Imphal, March 04 2025: In an endeavour to address shortage of blood stock in hospitals for treating cancer survivors/patients, a voluntary blood donation camp was held at the RIMS Blood Centre on Tuesday, under the theme "Cancer Laina Maithiba Pirasi".

The camp, organised to mark the 16th wedding anniversary of filmmaker and social activist Rakesh Naorem and Irengbam Romila, was a joint initiative of Live Savers Manipur, State Blood Cell SHS, NHM-Manipur and RIMS Department of Transfusion Medicine.

A total of 25 people donated blood at the camp.
