Imphal, December 30 2025: Senior Citizens' Society, Khundrakpam organised a felicitation ceremony in honour of Dr Kshetrimayum Kala Singh who was recently conferred the Social Services Award 2025 by the Association of Surgeons of India.

In a press release, the Society pointed out that Dr Ksh Kala was honoured with the prestigious award in acknowledgement of his social and community service work for the benefit of the public and extending necessary help to those in need.

He received the award from the president of ASI on December 18 during the ASICON at Biswa Bangla, Kolkata.

He is currently working as a Senior Consultant Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon at Raj Medicity and Babina Hospital.
