Sit-in protests bomb threat to pharmacy

Imphal, October 30 2022: JN Hospital Pharmacy Association (JNHPA), AAA club and local womenfolk staged a sit-in protest in front of NS pharmacy at Pong Lambi, Porompat in Imphal East district on Sunday, in denunciation of Saturday evening's act of planting an explosive device at the pharmacy owned by one N Samungou, who is also the JNHPA president.

In a joint statement, the bodies condemned the bomb threat to a medical store which is operating near the JNIMS hospital and is serving the general public day and night.

The bodies demanded immediate clarifications from the parties concerned and appealed not to repeat such acts to pharmacies in future.
