Sit-in staged against shooting at Emporium institute

Imphal, November 24 2024: A sit-in protest was staged by students and staff of Emporium Institute, Mantripukhri in front of the institute on Sunday against the firing attack at the institute on November 20.The protesters held placards inscribed with slogans such as 'Make educational institute terror free zone', 'We condemn attack at educational institute', etc.

Speaking to media persons, one of the protesting students, informed that the ongoing conflict in the state has impacted the public, especially, students.

In such a scenario, attacking an institute striving to provide education is highly condemnable, the student decried.
