SFs nab man with plastic cartridges

Imphal, October 24 2024: A combined team of Senapati district police and 78 Battalion CRPF apprehended a man with 90 plastic cartridges on Thursday afternoon.

The arrested individual has been identified as Lungjang Thuimai (56) s/o Poujinang Thuimai of Nurathen, Tamei.

According to a police report, the team was conducting a checking-frisking operation at T Khullen check post along NH-2 on Thursday, during which a white Gypsy was halted.

On checking, around nine packets of 4.8 mm pellets of SBBL gun were recovered.

Senapati police has registered an FIR for initiating legal action against the arrested person, the report conveyed.
