Imphal, October 24 2008: One KYKL cadre identified as S/S Cpl Ch Malemnganba (30) s/o Ch Parijat of Kakching Tezpur was apprehended by troops of 20 AR from Pallel market yesterday.

One .36 revolver with one live round was recovered from the possession of the UG cadre.

He was handed over to Kakching police station yesterday, informed a release issued by the PRO of Hqs IG AR (S).

The duo were carrying the liquor on a scooter when they were intercepted by the AR troops at Thoubal Khunou.

Both of them along with the seized liquor have been handed over to Thoubal police station, it added.
