Imphal, September 23 2024: Assam Rifles organised 'A Day with Company Commander' ay New Samtal and Yangnomphai villages which featured a variety of activities-aimed at promoting health, education and sportsmanship among the local population .

As per a release by PRO IGAR (S), Assam Rifles conducted football tournament participated by eight teams from nearby villages in New Samtal, opened mobile library for children at New Samtal and Yangnomphal villages and held a lecture on hygiene and sanitation at Yagnomphai Primary School, as part of the event.
