Cultural troupe leaves for Vietnam Fest

Imphal, August 23 2024: Art and Culture commissioner M Joy on Friday flagged off a cultural troupe of Government Dance College which will perform at the Namaste Vietnam festival in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, M Joy informed that the 12-member Manipur troupe will participate in the festival under the Act East Policy.

During the cultural exchange, the troupes will showcase the rich cultural heritage of Manipur to the world, he added.
