Health camp, leprosy awareness programme held

Imphal, February 20 2025:
A day-long skin health camp-cum-leprosy awareness programme was organised by National Leprosy Eradication Program (NLEP), NHM Manipur at BB Paul Mental Development Home on Thursday.
The awareness programme, attended by State Leprosy officer Dr Salam Bocha, Kakching District Leprosy officer Dr Yengkhom Jyotsna and BB Paul Home headmistress T Anita Devi, saw around 80 participants receiving skin treatment and free medicines.
In his address, Dr Bocha said that the primary goal of the camp was to promote skin health, raise awareness about leprosy and encourage collective efforts toward its eradication.
