Imphal, September 18 2022: Somsai Battalion of IGAR (S) conducted cleanliness drive at Kharasom Christian village in Ukhrul district on Saturday to emphasise the coordination with villagers and also to make the area of Kharasom clean and green.

Meanwhile, Moreh Battalion conducted fumigation in Moreh ward no 7 and surrounding areas to prevent outbreak of dengue.

Mosquito breeding grounds were also identified and two teams carried out the fogging at S Moljol, Govajang, SL Munpi, Chavangphai, Cannan Veng, Zion Veng, Pangal Basti and Nepali Basti.

Residents were also sensitised against the dengue outbreak in Moreh and took all necessary steps to destroy any mosquito breeding ground in their surroundings.
