Imphal, January 13 2025: A monitoring cell has been formed to ensure smooth, free & fair Students Union Election 2024-25 of all the colleges affiliated to Manipur University.

The monitoring cell was constituted in a joint meeting of six student organisations namely AMSU, MSF, DESAM, KSA, SUK and AIMS held at the office of MSF in Kwakeithel on Monday.

As per a joint release issued by the 6 student bodies, Moirangthem Lakshman has been elected as the convenor of the monitoring cell along with Rajesh Yumnam as treasurer, N Govind, Ng Milan and Soibam Anil as members.

The election is scheduled to be held on January 16, 2025 .
