Imphal, October 11 2026: A public meeting at Wangoi has formed a united committee of 18 organisations for spearheading efforts to improve Wangoi Community Health Centre (CHC) and face FIR filed against one Longjam Achouba.

The public meeting which resulted in the formation of the Wangoi CHC Yokhatpa Committee was held at Wangoi Keithel on October 8 .

The committee has Thounaojam Ibemcha as the convenor.

The FIR against Longjam Achouba has been filed for being "vocal" in issues related to the Wangoi CHC, alleged locals in the meeting.

The locals urged the relevant authorities to withdraw the FIR .
