Imphal, November 03 2008: One PLA cadre and a KYKL cadre have been apprehended by Assam Rifles from different places in the last 48 hours.

The PLA cadre identified as Thoibi Singh (30) of Moreh Ward no 7 was arrested by troops of 31 AR from his locality today.

He is being handed over to Police, said an AR PRO release.

The KYKL cadre was apprehended by troops of 32 AR from Canchipur yesterday.

He has been identified as Thokchom Bijoy alias Ibungo alias Bhopendro (37) s/o Th Ibohal of Thangalawai Maning Leikai.

He has been handed over to Singjamei police station today, added the release.
