33 Assam Rifles extends aid to flood-hit people

Imphal, June 02 2024:
33 Assam Rifles of Keithelmanbi battalion provided essential items including rice, edible oil, mosquito nets, tarpaulin, toothbrushes, and mattresses to the flood-affected people of Nambol assembly constituency who are taking shelter in relief camps set up at Nambol Higher Secondary School and P Ibomcha Children Junior High School.
While interacting with the flood-hit people, 33 Assam Rifles second-in-command Madan Lal Shah assured continuous efforts for the welfare of the public.
He further urged each and everyone to abstain from deforestation activities and to plant more amd more tree saplings to prevent natural disasters in the future.
