Thoubal observes World Blood Donor Day

Thoubal, August 01 2025: The World Blood Donor Day-2025 was jointly observed by National Health Mission (NHM), Manipur State Health Society State Blood Cell and Directorate of Health Services at the DIEC Hall of Thoubal district hospital (DH), here, on Thursday.

The observance held under the theme 'Give blood, give hope: Together we save lives!' was attended by Thoubal additional deputy commissioner Aribam Amarjit Sharma as chief guest and CMO Dr Y Nokul Singh as functional president, while DH medical superintendent Dr W Ruhinikumar Singh, Blood Centre MO in-charge Dr L Dorendro Singh and NHM Manipur State Blood Cell state nodal officer Dr Dayalaxmi were the guests of honour.

As part of the observance, 21 blood donors were felicitated with presentation of badges and certificates.
