BSF distributes solar street lights

Imphal, December 29 2018: 182 Bn BSF has distributed solar streetlights to the villagers, clubs and local organisations of Nongdam, Laikoching and Oksu Ningthemchakhul village under the guidance of Bn's Commandant N Diaho Mao today.

During the distribution function, Thokchom Binot Singh, Officiating Commandant of the Unit interacted with the villagers and distributed 6 sets of solar lights to the villagers, said a statement of 182 Bn BSF.

The statement maintained that the Officiating Commandant gave his assurance to the villagers to conduct more such good works in the coming days.

The locals appreciated the good gesture of the BSF, it added.
