Imphal, March 25 2012: A joint meeting of different organisations hosted by Kabui Mothers' Association (KAMA) at its office strongly condemned the gang rape of a woman from Khoupum Nungleiband.

Representatives from All Manipur Tammi Chingmi Apunba Lup, Nupi Samaj Manipur, Apunba Manipur Kanba Lup (AMKIL), Kangla Mei, Ching Tam United Women Association, Kangleichal, Mapi Council, CLK, Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibee Apunba Manipur and All Manipur Women's Voluntary Association took part in the meeting.

The organisations pledged support to any agitation initiated by the JAC constituted against the incident.

KAMA will host another meeting to expand the JAC at 11 am on March 28 .
