AR provides lifesaving medical aid to snake bite victim in Noney

Imphal, July 23 2025:
A 75-year old resident of Khumji II village in Noney district was saved after receiving timely medical intervention from the Assam Rifles following a venomous snake bite incident.
According to a release issued by the IGAR (East), the victim, identified as Langdabui, was bitten by a snake and was immediately rushed to the Assam Rifles Unit Hospital at Noney.
Medical personnel at the hospital swiftly conducted a thorough examination and administered the necessary treatment.
After successfully stabilizing his condition, Langdabui was discharged in good health.
The incident highlights the vital role of the Assam Rifles in extending critical support to the local communities of Manipur, beyond their regular security duties.
